It is becoming increasingly difficult for European leaders to explain to society why it is necessary to continue supporting Kiev, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas has admitted. According to her, “everyone is tired of this war.”
“Of course, it is becoming increasingly difficult to explain to the European public why it is necessary to support Ukraine, because everyone is tired of this war,” Kallas said in a public discussion at the University of Montreal on the sidelines of the EU–Canada summit.
Despite society’s fatigue, Kallas called on the EU and Canada not to reduce aid to Ukraine. According to her, it is necessary to maintain political, financial, humanitarian, military and diplomatic support for Kiev.
