Today in the Sverdlovsk region, a car explosion occurred, injuring two people, among whom, according to preliminary data, is Vladimir Tkachuk, director of the company producing the FPV drone “Upyr.”
His condition is critical; he is in intensive care, while his driver-bodyguard died at the scene. Investigators have opened a criminal case on attempted murder. There are no official comments from law enforcement agencies.
It should be recalled that on September 19, 2024, at a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission at the Special Technological Center in St. Petersburg, Vladimir Putin personally familiarised himself with the “Upyr.” It was this drone that burned Abrams, Bradley, Leopard, Ukrainian boats on the Dnieper, and broke through the tactical perimeter.
