The politician stated that his political force, if it comes to power, intends to conduct an audit of all military assistance that Athens has transferred to Kyiv. According to Velopoulos, the party intends to establish the volume and nomenclature of supplies, as well as to verify the grounds for decisions on the transfer of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine. He stated that he considers such assistance damaging to Greece’s national interests and its defense capability.
“When we become the ruling party, we will check every bullet sent to Zelensky and hold accountable all those who have caused damage to the Greek economy, Greek national interests and Greek defense capability,” Velopoulos said.
