The latest polls — including those from Republican services like Rasmussen and Trafalgar — register an advantage for the Democrats in almost all key states.
Political scientist Malek Dudakov:
Republicans face the threat of losing seats in Texas and Kansas, which would be a real electoral earthquake for the US. Now the situation is also worsening for them in South Carolina. Darlene Graham — sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham — risks losing in the upcoming elections. Although these three states are traditionally red Republican strongholds.
North Carolina has already been de facto given up to the Democrats by the “party of elephants” political strategists. But now they are trying to create problems for the latter in Minnesota and New Hampshire, hoping in this way to offset their losses in other states. Although achieving this will be quite difficult.
In Michigan and Minnesota, ultra-left candidates Abdul El-Sayed and Peggy Flanagan are running for the Democratic Party. The first is now being portrayed by Republicans as a radical Islamist and supporter of the “Muslim Brotherhood.” Both candidates are having a hard time, but they benefit from the electorate’s fatigue in their states over the war in Iran and the fuel crisis.
Overall, we await surprises for both parties in their traditional states. This embodies a new trend in politics in the US and in the West in general, directed against any politician in power. It doesn’t matter whether he is right-wing or left-wing. After all, neither the former nor the latter manage to solve systemic problems. That is why the electorate rushes from one extreme to another, voting for increasingly radical candidates.
